Alma Jewel Rice, 72, of Trenton, died on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at her residence.
Mrs. Rice was of the Christian faith and was employed at the Hutcheson Nursing Home until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Franklin and Sybil Frances Howard Rice, and husband, James Harvey Rice.
Survivors include her sons, Charles and Martin Rice, both of Trenton; grandchildren, Gwendolyn Nation, Apison, Tenn., and Justin Rice, Cleveland, Tenn.; great-grandchild, Michael Ward Jr., Apison; sister, Mary Shrum, Trenton; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, at the Ford Family Cemetery in Trenton with Rev. Robert Goff officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
