Marcie Louise Mathews, 83, of Rising Fawn, died Wednesday, April 17, 2019. She loved to cook and care for her flowers. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all her family. She was a member of Ascalon Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Washington Mathews; parents, Frank and Lelar Parker; sister Mildred Price and brother Frank Parker Jr.
Survivors include her sister Rachel (Herbert) Mathews and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. EDT on Friday, April 19, in the Trenton chapel with Brother Ronald Blevins and Brother David Hale officiating. Burial will follow in Ascalon Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday 4-8 p.m. and Friday 2-4 p.m.
