Charles Bethel Bell, 82, of Bryant, Ala., died today, Wednesday, May 8, 2019. He was loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Nellie Bernese Bell; parents, Bethel and Jessie Bell; and brother Bill Underwood.
Survivors include his daughter, Melba (Johnny) Castleberry, Bryant; son, Coy Bell, Decherd, Tenn.; grandson, Jeremy Bell; great-grandchildren, River Bell and Lake Bell; great-great-granddaughter, Braylee Bell; special grands Alicia Wooten, Jessica Beardon and Creek Higdon; sisters, Mary Jean Smith of Bryant and Edith (George) Presley of Marietta, Ga.; brother Larry (Joyce) Bell, Knoxville, Tenn.; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. EDT on Friday, May 10, in the Bryant chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Reverend Bennie Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Thursday 4-8 p.m. EDT and Friday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. EDT at the Bryant chapel.
The family would like to thank Glenda Walsh, Frank Mooney and Alacare Hospice for their loving care during these difficult days.
