Valorie Hawkins Taylor, 68, of Rising Fawn, Georgia, died Thursday, May 9, 2019.
Valorie was a 1968 graduate of Dade County High School and later was employed at the school as a paraprofessional. She also enjoyed several years working in the Dade Tax Commissioner's office. A Baptist by faith, Valorie was a loving mother and devoted wife and will be missed my many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Floyd Taylor, parents, H.G. and Savannah Hawkins, and sister, Cathy Hawkins-Sharp.
Survivors include her daughter and best friend, Kristie Taylor of Trenton, and several close friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 13, in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Bro. Darren Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Beene Cemetery.
