Harold “Papa” Prince, 81, of Trenton, died Wednesday, June 12, 2019. Mr. Prince was a self-employed carpenter and retired after many years of service. He was a member of New Life Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Daniel Prince, parents, Willie and Essie Prince, and eight siblings.
Surviving include his children, Vickie (Greg) Garner, Rita (Ron) Burgess, Chris (Charity) Prince and Jason Prince, all of Trenton; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five siblings, Rev. Russell Prince, Daniel Prince, Elizabeth Stone, Sue Tripp and Wanda Wilkerson; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 14, in the chapel with Pastor Lynn Newman and Rev. Russell Prince officiating. Interment will follow in Brown’s Gap Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday and 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Friday at the Ryan Funeral Home and Crematory, Trenton, Ga.
