Jeffery Lynn Johnson, 54, of Flintstone, died Friday, June 21, 2019. He was employed by Chattanooga Times Free Press and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Sylvia Lynn Johnson.
Survivors include his loving wife of 25 years, Connie Johnson; daughter, Tiffany (Michael) Watson; parents, Hilda (Jerry) Swafford and Dennis E. Johnson; sister, Kelly Bidwell; brothers, Jason (Denisea) Johnson and Jodie (Crystal) Swafford; grandchildren, Kash and Karlie Watson; mother and father-in-law, Peggy and Gary Talley; brother-in-law, Wayne (April) Talley; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. EST Tuesday, June 25, in the Bryant chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Wayne Winters officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow in Oak Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Monday 4-8 p.m. and Tuesday 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
