Evelyn Coletta Cole, 96, died Friday, July 12, 2019. She was a lifelong resident of Dade County. She married John B. Cole Jr. in 1942.
Evelyn, a loving wife and mother, enjoyed life, including playing guitar, sewing, cooking and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Cole Jr.; parents, Elvin and Maude Cureton; brother, John Cureton;and son-in-law, Joe Tatum.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Tatum; two nieces, two nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, at 2 p.m. EDT in the Trenton chapel with Pastor Michael Pettengill officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery, Slygo.
Visitation will be held from noon-2 p.m. on Tuesday.
