Jannie Ruth Smith, 70, of Bryant, Ala., died Tuesday, July 23, 2019. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was a member of Canaanland Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her son, Blake Smith, parents, three brothers and infant sister.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Edward Smith; daughter, Donna (Robbie) Williams; son, Bradley (Kellie) Smith; grandchildren, Shonda (Mark) Slatton, Frankie (Brittany) Smith, Steven (Whitney) Smith, Kendra (Ty) Phillips and Dana Smith; five great-grandchildren, Ella and Priscilla Slatton, Brody Smith, Addison and Sawyer Smith; sister Lilla Ferrell; brother John Byram; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. EDT Friday, July 26, in the Trenton chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Jim Hixon officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is Thursday 4-8 p.m. EDT and Friday 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
