Buster Garrison


Buster Garrison, 87, of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, in a local health care facility.

Mr. Garrison was retired from S&M Supply of Chattanooga following 30-plus years of service, was a member of the Wolftever Fishing Club and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mose and Mary Jane Garrison, daughter, Sandra Heck, and sister Ellen Helton.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Barbara Garrison; children, Ronnie Garrison and Charlie (Wilma) Garrison, all of Chattanooga, Cindy (Mike) Moore of Rising Fawn, Greg (Brenda) Garrison of Harrison, Tenn., and John Garrison of Athens, Tenn; grandchildren, Dustin Garrison, Erica Garrison, Lindsey McCann, Tara Page, Laura Renshaw, Michael Moore, Steven Garrison, Brandon Garrison, John Garrison and Jodi Garrison; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters JoAnn Parrott, Lucille Bradshaw and Betty Garrison; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lakewood Memory Gardens East, Shallowford Road, Chattanooga, with Brother Eddie Cantrell officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 30, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, 11415 S. Main Street, Trenton, GA 30752.
