Effie Jane Burns, 94, of Trenton, died Tuesday evening, August 27, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Burns was a member of New England Baptist Church and enjoyed quilting, working in her garden and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Burns; parents, Edward and Leona Chambers; and five siblings.
Surviving include her daughter, Barbara (Jeremy) Camp of Trenton; son, Raburn (Teresa) Burns of Trenton; grandchildren, Christy Beatty, Stephanie Beatty and Leslie Burns; four great-grandchildren, Jayla, Gage, Colton and Tay; brother W.B. Chambers; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel with Bro. Alan Flowers and Bro. James McMahan officiating. Interment will follow in Trenton Baptist Cemetery.
Family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Thursday and noon to service time Friday at Ryan Funeral Home, Trenton, Ga.
