Travis "Pop" Westbrook

Travis “Pop” Dean Westbrook, 89, of Rising Fawn, died Thursday, September 19, 2019. He was a member of Lea’s Chapel Baptist Church, Valley Head, Ala. Mr. Westbrook proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Westbrook, and parents, Lloyd and Exa De Alva Westbrook.

Survivors include his daughters, Linda (Danny) Swafford of Apison, Tenn., Susan (Randy) Gross of Birchwood, Tenn., Christine Westbrook of Henagar, Ala., and Emily Westbrook of Flat Rock, Ala.; sons, Travis “Tab” (Robin) Westbrook Jr. of Rising Fawn and David (Brenda) Westbrook of Madison, Ga.; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. CDT Tuesday, September 24, at Lea’s Chapel Baptist Church, Valley Head, Ala., with Brother Richard Ellis officiating. Interment will follow in the church’s cemetery with full military honors.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
