Pastor Don C. Taylor of Trenton died Friday, September 27, 2019, at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was the longtime pastor of United Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Acworth and Mae Taylor; son, Donald Taylor Jr.; sister, Margaret McDonald; brothers, Lewis Taylor, Franklin Taylor, Ron Taylor, and Ned Taylor;
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Joann Taylor; daughter, Frances Taylor; son Jeremy (Devonna) Taylor; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Dawlon Conkle and Brother Ricky Crabtree officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Sunday 3-8 p.m., Monday 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and
Tuesday 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
