Henry Arvil “Bob” Smith, 98, of Trenton, died at his residence Saturday evening November 2, 2019. He was retired from Dyer Lumber Company after 43 years of service. Mr. Smith was of the Baptist faith.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Ann Pryor Smith; three brothers, Elbert, Brad and Ted Smith; and two sisters, Ovell Lumpkin and Henrietta Henry.
Surviving include his children, Carolyn Phillips of Trenton and Jerry (Connie) Smith of Henagar, ALa.; two grandchildren, Jeremy Smith and Amanda (Wayne) RehKamp; four great-grandchildren, Zack Smith, Britany Robinson and Nathaniel and Nicholas RehKamp; three great-great-grandchildren, Lucas, Ransom and Ana Belle Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 7, in the chapel with Bro. Eddie Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
