Doyle Tishaw, 71, of Bryant, Alabama, died Wednesday, November 13, 2019, in a local health care facility.
Mr. Tishaw was a loving father who enjoyed the outdoors and wildlife and had a heart for animals. He was active in charity work and helping to feed children overseas. As a businessman, Mr. Tishaw enjoyed trading merchandise with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Tishaw; brothers, John, Dolan, Macky and James Tishaw; sisters Ila and Lila Hawkins and Ozell Brown.
Survivors include his daughters, Lynn Newman Swaggerty, Kelly Phillips, Shelia Tishaw and Selena Tishaw; grandchildren, Mason Reed, Cameron Hunt, Jada Vaughn, Caden Newman, Chevy and Dale Phillips and Aaron Fraker; sister Letha Burns; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 16, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Lynn Swaggerty officiating. Interment will follow in New Salem Cemetery, Lookout Mountain.
