Johnnie Que Ellis, 75, of Bryant, Alabama, died on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, after a long battle with dementia. Johnnie Que was a forklift driver at Sather's Candy Company for 30-plus years. She loved going antiquing and yard saling. She also loved going to the beach and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was of the Christian faith. To her family she was a loving wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Derrell Lee "Sam" Ellis; son Derrell Lee Ellis Jr.; twin sister, Tommie Sue Fairris Whitener; sisters Mary Diane Whited and LeDell Padgett; and brother M.D. "Buddy" Fairris.
Surviving include her daughter Robbie Lyn (Michael) Terry of Rydal, Ga.; son Kenneth Waylan (Sharon) Ellis of Bryant, Ala.; sisters Martha Lou Smith and Faye Monroe; grandchildren, Chad (Sheena) Ellis, Tashia (Stephen) Shown, Haley Ellis. Jennifer Lyn Ellis Hankins and Christopher Lee Ellis; great-grandchildren, Braedyn Hankins, Alec Shown, Brantley Shown and Kaysen Ellis; and everal nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, December 8, in the chapel with Rev. Greg Ellis officiating. Family will receive friends 2-3 p.m. on Sunday, December 8 at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, Ga.
