Dorothy Louise Robinson, 84, of Trenton, died Monday, December 9, 2019. She was born September 24, 1935, in Jasper, Tenn., to Daniel and Ida Pittman. She married Thomas Robinson in 1953 and they were married for 63 years.
Surviving are her daughter, Linda (Danny) Ellis of Trenton; two sons, Michael (Delane) Robinson of Trenton and Charles (Penny) Robinson of Tunnel Hill; three grandchildren, Daniel (Juanita) Robinson, Dane (Stormy) Robinson and Anthony Robinson; six great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Dorothy’s husband, mother, father, sister Betty King, brothers Dan Pittman Jr. and Billy Pittman preceded her in death.
Dorothy was a longtime resident of Trenton and a member of White Oak Baptist Church. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to sew and was an avid Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves supporter.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 12, at 11 a.m. EST in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home Trenton. Brother Charles Ellison and Brother Jeff Daniels will be officiating. The burial will follow at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 11, from 4-8 p.m.EST and Thursday, December 12, from 9 a.m. until the service hour.
