John William Martin, 85, of Trenton, died Friday, December 20, 2019. He retired from Wheland Foundry and had served a term as city commissioner for Trenton. John attended Calvary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Iva Imogene, his parents, three sisters and six brothers.
Survivors include his daughters and their husbands, Sandra and Sandy Clark of Bryant, Ala., and Sharon and Casey Morton of Trenton; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; special loving friend Margaret Blevins; and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. EST Monday, December 23, in the Trenton chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Renshaw officiating. Burial will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens..
Family will receive friends Sunday 2-8 p.m. and Monday 10 a.m. to service time.
