Lindel Ray Pierce Sr., 79, of Trenton, died on Tuesday, January 14, 2020.

Lindel was a man of faith who enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing, and spending time with his family. He was a self-employed auto mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Bishop Pierce, son, Lindel Ray Pierce Jr., sisters, Polly Towns and Mamie Pierce Lassiter, and brother, James Pierce.

Survivors include his children, Rhonda (Mike) Bush of Covington, Ky., Lloyd (Amy) Pierce and Wayne (Jennifer) Pierce, all of Trenton; grandchildren, Michael Holland, Cathy, James and Derick Scholl, Carrington, Madison and Cooper Pierce, and Josephine and Elijah Pierce; six great-grandchildren; brother, Paul (Mary Ann) Pierce of Lookout Mountain, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 18, in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Lux Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Head Springs Cemetery, Valley Head, Ala.

The family will receive friends on Thursday and Friday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service hour at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, Ga.
