Richard L. Blake, 91, of Sulphur Springs, Alabama, died today, Tuesday, February 4, 2020. Mr. Blake was retired from DuPont following 30 plus years of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Hazel Williams Blake, son, Wesley Blake, and parents, Borden and Bonnie Blake.
Survivors include his children, Shirley (Brad) Wilkes, Huntsville, Ala., Nancy Peppers and Cole (Summer) Blake, all of Sulphur Springs; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, February 7, in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Pastor David Durham officiating. Interment will follow in Sulphur Springs Cemetery.
