Christine Robinson Boyd, 95, of Chattanooga, died Thursday, February 13, 2020. She loved her family and was a devoted Christian who loved to sing. Christine also loved to cook and garden and she enjoyed traveling. She was a member of Ashland Terrace Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Maggie Bodenhamer; husband, Loren Boyd; children, Estell Lamar and Warren Ray Jr.; sisters, Opal Huff, Lois Braddock; and brother, Lewis Bodenhamer.
Survivors include her daughters, Marilyn (Paul) Parker, Denise Smith and Debbie Robinson; sons, Windell (Joyce) Robinson, Rondell (Aundra) Robinson, Hilton (Bernice) Robinson, C.J. (Janice) Robinson and Matthew (Summer) Boyd; special sister-in-law, Betty Teachout; best friend Jackie Leichty; 21 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren; many special nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. EST on Sunday, February 16, in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Ed Horner and Chaplin Matthew Boyd officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Springs Cemetery on Sand Mountain.
Family will receive friends on Saturday from 2-8 p.m. and Sunday noon-2 p.m.
