Argie W. Inman, 84, of Higdon, Ala., died peacefully at her residence on Thursday, February 20, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.

Argie was born May 9, 1936, in Columbus City, Ala., to the late Edward and Ellen Weeks. She was a member of Free Hill Baptist Church of Rosalie, Ala., and worked for over 20 years at the Neighborhood Referral Center. She was a graduate of DAR High School in Grant, Ala. She loved to cook for her loved ones and enjoyed quilting.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Bill Inman; daughter Annecia Stacy; her parents; sister Jerusha Lowery; and brothers Leo and L.D. Weeks.

She is survived by her son, Mark (Donna) Inman; daughter, Melinda (Rickey) Blevins; brother, Orvell Weeks; sisters Margie Kilgore and Ollie Norman; grandsons, Kenney Smith, Eric Inman and Kyle Blevins; granddaughters, Kristy Smith, Kelly Shankles, April Treece and Elana Inman; 12 great-grandchildren; son-in-law Bo Stacy; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. EST on Saturday, February 22, at Moore Funeral Home in Bryant, Ala. Brother Don Inman and Brother Kendall Inman will officiate the service. Burial to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 21, from 4-9 p.m. EST and on Saturday from 11 a.m. EST until service time.
