Fred Hicks, 76,of Bryant, Ala., died Sunday, March 8, 2020. Fred loved fishing and being outside with his great-grandson Asher. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Hicks Sr. and Beulah Hicks; and brothers Logan, Ray, Clarence and James Hicks.
Survivors include his loving family, wife of 59 years, Mary Hicks; daughters Debbie (Kenneth) Arrington, Bryant, and Sheila (Chris) Yetter, Chattanooga; brother Clem (Shirley) Hicks, Bryant; five grandchildren, Stacey and Brittany Arrington and Christopher, Beth and Nick Yetter; great-grandson Asher Hicks Arrington; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, in the Bryant chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Reverend Brad Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in the Bryant Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
