William Thomas “Tom Bo” Countiss, 69, of Higdon, Alabama, died Tuesday afternoon, March 17, 2020, at Highland Medical Center. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Brian Stanton and Annie Higdon Countiss, brother James Lee Countiss and sister Mary Swanson.
Surviving include his sister Eva Lacy of Rossville; brother Charles Countiss of Higdon; niece Yvonne (Lloyd) George of Ohatchee, Ala.; nephews Greg Swanson of Higdon, James Swanson of Bryant, Ala., Jonathan Swanson of Higdon, Daniel (Michelle) Moore of Ooltewah, Tenn., Nathan Moore of Rossville, and Jeremy (Natalie) Moore of Fort Oglethorpe; also several great-nieces and -nephews.
