Wayne McCormick, 54, of Ooltewah, Tenn., wdied Wednesday, April 22, 2020.
Wayne was retired from Hamilton County Emergency Services following 30 years of service, was a member of White Oak Baptist Church, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Wayne McCormick, infant daughter, Kayla McCormick, and mother, Barbara Jean Massey McCormick.
Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years, April McCormick; children, Melissa (Ethan) Blevins, Fort Payne, Ala., Stephanie Fitzgerald, Ooltewah,, and Kristen (Corey) Barton, Signal Mtn., Tenn.; grandchildren, Kayleigh Norton, Koty Norton, Ryleigh Fitzgerald and Raelynn Fitzgerald; brother, Chris (Penny) McCormick; father, Wendell McCormick; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services with military honors will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Gospel Cemetery with Jody Massey officiating.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 24, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, Ga.
