Letha Mae Burns, 81, of Trenton, died Saturday, April 25, 2020. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is preceded in death by her sons, Steven Ray Burns, Jimmy Dale Burns and Samuel Allen Burns; five brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Jean Ferguson (Fred) and Janet Renee Knight; sons John Albert Burns (Sue), Jackie DeWayne Burns and Ricky Joe Burns; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Letha spent her life doing all she could for others. She knew better than anyone the virtue of hard work. She also understood the joy of spending time with the people she loved, looking at the pretty things in life and listening to the birds sing.
Funeral services will be held in accordance to the CDC guidelines on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at 2 p.m. EDT in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Tim Renshaw officiating. Please join us for the livestreamed service by visiting
