Shirley Sullivan Russell, 78, of Trenton, died on Monday, June 15, 2020.
Shirley was born on October 13, 1941, to the late Marshall Sr. and Jewell Sullivan. She was a 1960 graduate of Dade County High School and attended Trenton United Methodist Church.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Troy, Marshall Jr., Max and Terry Sullivan, and sister, Charlotte Bice.
Survivors include her husband of 56 ½ years, Robert “Smokey” Russell; grandchildren, Maddie Hughes and Christian Smith; 11 nieces and nephews; and special friend, Lanny York.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Sullivan and Rev. Reese Fauscett officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
