DeEtt K. Bowman, 93, of Bryant, Ala., died Friday, June 26, 2020. She was a mother to all who entered her life, friend to any who met her. Never a harsh word about anyone, blessed beyond words and loved beyond measure. Heaven gained a beautiful angel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Bowman; daughter, Brenda Gail Bowman; parents, Frank and Viola Knittel; son-in-law, James Dale Cureton; and seven brothers and sisters.
Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Myra Cureton, Peggy Dalton, Kathy (Billy) Renfro and Cindy (Clay) Galloway; brother, Ray (Marilyn) Knittel; and 11 grandchildren; Minerva, Kelly, Johnny, Craig, Kenny, Travis, Jennifer, Harley, Dallas, Joey and Amanda.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. EDT on Monday, June 29, in the Bryant chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Mike Williams and Brother Billy Renfro officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3-8 p.m. EDT and on Monday from noon EDT until the service hour.
